    EURONEAR - Tools - WDSFilter

Description: Filtering tool to search double stars from the Washington Double Star (WDS) Catalogue.
Useful for runing double stars datamining projects over the EURONEAR Mega-Archive (15 million images by May 2018).
Input: Few filtering parameters.
Output: A list of double stars which fullfills the required limitations.
Using: The Washington Double Star Catalog (WDS) maintained at the U.S. Naval Observatory.

Filters:

Right Ascension (hh mm ss) from: to: Declination (±dd mm ss) from: to: Magnitude limits (mag) from: to: Magnitude difference (mag) from: to: Separation (arcsec) from: to: Nr. of observations (integer) from: to: Last observation (year) from: to: Discoverer code (ex: HJ1230)       Image count only   This will count the number of Mega-Archive fields containing each object. IMPORTANT: Checking this option will slow down considerably the search.
