EURONEAR - Tools - Mega Precovery from Designation
Description: Precovery and recovery of known asteroids or comets from the Mega Archive (15 million images by Mar 2018).
Input: Name, number or designation of the asteroid or comet to search (only one object).
Output: List of images probably showing serendipitous encounters of the object.
Queries: The Miriade service (Berthier et al., IMCCE/Obs Paris).
Using: The OrbFit Software Package (OrbFit Consortium - A. Milani et al, 2017) installed locally.(under maintenance) Instead, please use this mirror UCV tool.

- Note: OrbFit is unstable to run new multi-observations orbits, thus we accommodate two multi-step models.
